Ways you can make a gift:
- Credit Card: Online or by phone. All gifts are tax-deductible.
- Check: Make checks payable to Gillispie School and mail them to the attention of Dana Irwin, Office of Development & Community Relations, Gillispie School, 7380 Girard Ave., La Jolla, CA, 92037.
- Gifts of Securities: Donate appreciated securities for maximum tax benefit (consult your advisor). Please contact Dana Irwin (link to email or [email protected]) for delivery instructions.
- Wire Transfer: Please contact Dana Irwin for delivery instructions.
- Matching Gifts: Double your impact! Check your employer’s benefits portal to see if your company participates in matching donations. Ask your HR representative if this is an option at your company! Many Local companies such as Qualcomm, SDG&E/Sempra, Apple, Microsoft, Verizon, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Illumina Boeing, Adobe, and Pfizer have all made significant contributions matching community gifts! - Pledges: Pledges, which can be made at any time, give donors the flexibility to pay in installments or in one lump sum before May 1. You will receive participation credit at the time you make your pledge. You can make your pledge on the Make a Gift page (goes to Make a Gift - Diamondmind form) or by turning in a pledge form to the School. (goes to 2024-2025 ONEGillispie Annual Giving Pledge Form - need to update).
- In-Kind Gifts: Gifts of personal property are accepted if they can serve a worthwhile purpose for the school, can be sold for cash, or can offset a previously planned expense. A description of the item donated is provided to the donor by the Development Office. However, the donor must determine the value of the item with their tax advisor for tax purposes. To make your donation, please use our In-Kind Donation form (goes to In-Kind Form) or contact Dana Irwin.
