We are thrilled to announce that ten pieces of artwork created by Gillispie School students—from early childhood to Grade 5—have been selected for display at the prestigious Young Art 2025 exhibition! This biennial youth exhibition, hosted by the San Diego Museum of Art (SDMA), is the longest-running program in the Museum’s history, celebrating young artistic talent for over 90 years.

The theme for Young Art 2025 is "Nurture and Nature," inviting young artists to explore the connection between personal experiences and the natural world. With students from across San Diego County and Tijuana submitting their work, it is an incredible honor for our Gillispie students to be selected for this juried exhibition.

Families are encouraged to visit the exhibition and celebrate student artwork at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park from April 5–May 18, 2025.

We are so proud of our students for their artistic accomplishments and can't wait to see their work displayed in this remarkable exhibition. Congratulations to all the young artists!
