Room 3 students have begun practicing “body puzzles” during their P.E. time on the field with Mr. Whelan and Ms. Kibblewhite.
During a recent activity, 12 “body puzzle” mats were laid out on the field. Each mat had a different poses painted on it that the children were asked to recognize and match their hands, elbows, knees, head, and feet according to what was on the mat.
Some of the benefits these preschoolers can derive from “body puzzles” include enhanced flexibility, strength, coordination, body awareness, and improved concentration.
EC students will continue to practice and progress throughout the school year in P.E. class.
