If Our Walls Could Talk…

Self Portrait Wall

If our walls could talk, they would tell stories of growth, perseverance, and the power of a child’s imagination and resilience. Like every good story, these tales have a beginning and a middle, but they don't have an end. Instead, they lead to new beginnings, with each chapter opening up to the next part of the journey.

From the hand-painted collages of our preschool artists to the intricate details of our third graders’ name-maker projects, our walls showcase the magic of these early years. They are a testament to the incredible journey of education and the village it takes to shape young learners.

As you walk through our campus, you’ll see first-grade self-portraits that will evolve over the years, reflecting the children’s changing perspectives and interests. You’ll see poems by our sixth graders and illustrations that capture what matters most to them. Remember The Rainbow Fish? Your children are reading it now, too! As our Pre-K students learn about sharing and caring for themselves and others, they’re also melting crayons to create their own rainbow-scale portraits.

These expressions are a window into their journey as they develop their character and voice. Their ideas come to life on these walls, celebrating creativity and the endless potential each of their futures holds. Our walls do talk—and they are telling the stories of your wonderful children.
